Abstracts – wild and willful
From almost ignoring abstracts in my past life as something potentially ‘kids can do ‘ to being wonderfully fascinated by the techniques, mark making, energy and messages within each abstract artwork, I am completely captivated by them at present !
When I start my abstract , I have no plan , no destination. But as soon as I put the first bit of paint down I am consumed by energy and instincts, adding more colours and marks as the evolving painting tells me . It is only afterwards that ‘I see what I paint’.
Abstracts trully reflect the artists mind and soul and each painting is a true original that can be created only once.
