Portraits and figures
Figures of animals or humans have always been of interest to me from my early interest in illustration . The way a giraffe holds his neck , the cheeky stare of a frog, the discerning look of an owl , a dancers poise , a horses energy, the light bouncing of a baby’s face! These all stand out to me and guide me to capture them in a painting. Expression , movement and aesthetics- there is everything to be found in a good figurative painting and I hope you enjoy seeing my work in my gallery !
